Part Time – Administrative –Exempt – Salary Range: $25/ per hour 12- 20 hours per week

Position is responsible to develop, evaluate and provide Fire and EMS training to members of Country Club Hills combination fire department. Successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to maintain training records and ensure compliance with state and local rules and regulations. Maintain and operate fire and EMS apparatus and equipment. Create, conduct and supervise fire and EMS training exercises and participate in department training.

Physical exertion is required for this position. May be required to climb stairs, ladders, and over walls, run, move heavy objects, crawl through tight spaces and kneel in confined areas Special Requirements: Valid Illinois Driver’s license, Basic Firefighter (FFII) certification, Advanced Firefighter (FFIII) certification, EMT-P (IDPH/ National Registry), Fire Apparatus Engineer, Instructor I, Instructor II, Training Program Manager, Fire Officer I, Fire Officer II

All certifications shall be through the Illinois State Fire Marshall Office

Ability to obtain within one year: Instructor III
