Mayor Riley Rogers was hospitalized after suffering a mild heart attack on Sunday, according to village officials.
“The mayor experienced persistent shortness of breath while driving his daughter to O’Hare Airport, so 911 was called and he was taken to the hospital,” said Village Administrator Clem Balanoff in a news release on Monday.
Rogers is resting comfortably at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge and is expected to be released soon. Please click here to read the rest of the story in the Times.
