The Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (DOTH) held briefings in Sauk Village and Chicago Heights on Aug 30 to present the final Lincoln Highway Logistics Corridor Strategic Plan, including the results of the consultants’ detailed analyses and the recommended next steps. The meetings included presentations of materials related to their infrastructure and site analysis, financial analysis, and implementation action plan. See the presentation slides here. They were seeking input on how best to align and focus resources to take advantage of the Lincoln Highway Logistics Corridor’s tremendous economic development potential. Implementation planning will begin in about a month.
