Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways calls for projects

The Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways has announced a third round of Invest in Cook, an $8.5 million program to cover the cost of planning and feasibility studies, engineering, right-of-way acquisition, and construction associated with transportation improvements sponsored by local and regional governments and private partners. This program is designed to solicit applications for improvements consistent with the five priorities of Connecting Cook County, the County’s first long-range transportation plan, as well as the recommendations of the Cook County Freight Plan. 2 INVEST IN COOK WORKSHOPS FOR POTENTIAL APPLICANTS
The 2019 application season for Invest in Cook opened on Tuesday, January 15th. The first workshop will be held on Thursday, January 24th and the second on Friday, February 1st.
On Thursday, January 24, 2019, the first workshop will be held at the George Dunne County Office Building, 69 West Washington, on the 22nd Floor in Room 22B from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
On Friday, February 1, 2019, the second workshop will also be held at the George Dunne County Office Building, 69 West Washington, on the 22nd Floor in Room 22B from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
