SSMMA wishes to congratulate Park Forest Mayor Jonathan Vanderbilt and University Park Mayor-Elect Joseph E. Roudez III on their elections. Mayor Vanderbilt was sworn in on Monday, and Mayor-Elect Roudez is scheduled to be sworn in on May 14.
Last month, SSMMA congratulated Harvey Mayor-Elect Christopher Clark on his election. He is scheduled to be sworn in on May 13. We also congratulated Chicago Heights Mayor David Gonzalez and Country Club Hills Mayor James Ford on their re-elections.
We thank outgoing University Park Mayor Vivian Covington, Park Forest Mayor John Ostenburg and Harvey Mayor Eric Kellogg for their years of public service.
