Did you miss the June 20 Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) open house at SSMMA for commenting on the draft On To 2050 plan? No worries. You can still weigh-in on the regional plan, as well as the Federal Fiscal Year 2019-2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and TIP conformity analysis.

As part of the development of ON TO 2050, the region’s next comprehensive plan, the draft ON TO 2050 is now available online for public comment through August 14, 2018, at www.cmap.illinois.gov/ONTO2050. ON TO 2050’s three principles of Inclusive Growth, Resilience, and Prioritized Investment inform all of its recommendations, cutting across the plan’s goals for community, prosperity, environment, governance, and mobility. Visit the website to explore the plan, download a full PDF, view the plan’s technical appendices, and submit feedback.

You may also comment on the draft plan by attending a public open house, or the July public hearing at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning’s office (233 S. Wacker Dr., Chicago).

CMAP is also seeking comments through August 14 on the draft Federal Fiscal Year 2019-2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), the ON TO 2050/TIP conformity analysis memo, and a list of conformity amendments. Comments on these documents may be submitted to CMAP by mailemail, or phone (312-454-0400) through August 14, 2018.
