Over the past two years, more than 40,000 Chicagoland residents have come together to participate in The Chicago Community Trust’s On the Table. This annual forum is designed to elevate civic conversation, foster new relationships and create a unifying experience across the region.
The conversations will continue with On the Table 2016 on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Friends, family, neighbors and colleagues will take part in mealtime conversations across the Chicagoland region. This act of coming together has never been more important. On the Table will connect individuals and communities of diverse perspectives and backgrounds. Talking – and listening – to our neighbors is an important first step toward creating a more unified Chicago.
We invite you to host a mealtime conversation with your network – when we come together as a community to learn from each other, we have the power to impact both neighborhoods and lives.
