SSMMA is closely monitoring events surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus) public health emergency and recommendations which include social distancing as a safeguard to slow the spread of the virus.
In consideration of the safety of our members, the Vendor Fair/Dinner meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 19 has been cancelled. Please email melissa.doud@ssmma.org if you have already submitted a payment.
Also note: With the suspension of the General Assembly session, weekly legislative calls are put on hold until further notice. If there is legislative activity that impacts the Southland, we will keep you informed.
Stay tuned for announcements related to our April meeting schedule. We will continue to follow recommended precautionary measures and will take action, as needed, in response to the rapidly evolving situation.

Please join the South Suburban Mayors & Managers Association at our Annual Associate Member Appreciation Vendor Fair/Dinner! Member registration is REQUIRED by Friday, March 13 to attend this event. It will be hosted by Mayor Ron Gardiner and the Village of Glenwood and Mayor Bob Kolosh and the Village of Thornton, and sponsored by Comcast.
The cost is $50.00 for members, associate members and government officials, or $75.00 for non-members.
