Blue Island is the hottest place to be

In a Chicago residential market still warming up after a deep freeze, Blue Island is the hottest place to be—at least for now. Single-family home values rose 23.1 percent from May 2014 to May 2015 in the south suburb’s 60406 zip code, the biggest increase of any zip code in the Chicago area, according to data from CoreLogic Case-Shiller.
