In 2017, Chicago’s historic Balmoral Park will host its newest equestrian sport – show jumping, brought to Illinois by HITS and ShowPlace Productions.

The shows will run for thirteen weeks from spring until fall and will be spaced out so that you can enjoy your favorite world-class horse shows facilities in Saugerties and Culpeper without missing your time at the newly minted Balmoral Park. These are the ideal months to be in the Midwest, with temperatures ranging from warm to balmy. Throughout the season exhibitors can relax in Balmoral’s unique climate-controlled clubhouse or take in a round of golf at the nearby (as in, right across the street) Balmoral Woods Golf Course.

Pending final approval, here are the dates you can expect to show at the newest addition to the HITS family. Click here for updates or more information. A related story is here in the Triibune/Daily Southtown.
