April 8: Southworks Engineering and Robotics Olympics
This program is designed to connect experiential learning in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) around the themes of team-based product design, prototyping, problem-solving and innovation. We seek to encourage high-quality work, emphasizes ethical learning and valuing others, while also providing critical exposure to career pathways in manufacturing and simultaneously introduces companies to the young talent they seek. These young people are our manufacturing companies workforce of the future.

Speak Seeds, OAI, SSMMA and CSCDC have collaborated on this Southworks Olympics project in an effort to bring everyone to the table for the spring competition. This is a grassroots community effort that involves students, parents, teachers, administrators, and regional manufacturing companies.
