The 2019 Southworks Engineering and Robotics competition is April 13 at South Suburban College! Thanks to the collaboration between OAI, Inc. Chicago Southland, SSMMA, Chicago Southland Economic Development Corporation, and @Speak Seeds, manufacturing companies in the Calumet region are partnering with local high schools to help them in the engineering and robotics competition. It’s great to see companies like Lb Steel, Mi-Jack Products, Trialco, Whiting Corporation, Kay Manufacturing Company, Chicago Magnesium Casting Company, Federal Signal, Do-Rite Die Engineering, Panduit, Kocsis Brothers Machine, Bimba Manufacturing, Ardagh Group and many more getting involved.
