April 13: Public hearing on bringing a trauma center to the south suburbs

Please share State Representative Will Davis’ invitation with your communities…

For the betterment of our community, access to medical facilities is a must. In the south suburban community there is a lack of resources in the case of a level one trauma center, possibly having the longest ambulance run times in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. This means that if you live in these areas and are in need of a level on trauma center, it could take longer than a half an hour before arriving at a medical center that can handle your type of medical emergency. With your participation we can put an end to this shocking statistic with the addition of a medical trauma center in the southern suburbs.

The hearing is open to the public. I strongly encourage community stakeholders, first responders, businesses, elected officials, and healthcare providers to participate. With your involvement, we can bring a necessary safety net to our communities. Please download and post/distribute the flyer.
