When Mia Graber’s son was in high school he had to walk or bike to school every day, as they lived less than a mile away. It often was a challenging and unsafe effort, especially in winter when some sidewalks were covered in snow.
Graber’s son now is 21, but the Homewood resident remains concerned about pedestrian safety in the area.
