Tinley Park Interim Assistant Village Manager Pat Carr
The Tinley Park Village Board approved an agreement clearing the way for an extension of 191st Street east from Harlem Avenue to Oak Park Avenue. The total project is estimated to cost $3.5 million and will include upgraded traffic signals at 191st and Harlem as well as signals at the intersection with Oak Park Avenue.
Through the South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association, federal funding amounting to 80 percent of construction costs has been obtained, and the village’s share of the total cost is about $579,000.
With the departure of assistant village manager Steve Tilton, the board approved naming Pat Carr as interim village manager.
