Vision for Southeast Side includes more green space, bike trails

The Southeast Side is getting greener with current and future environmental projects, activists say.

A few dozen residents gathered recently at St. Kevin’s Church in South Deering to hear a host of speakers explain the projects.

The community meeting was organized by Tom Shepherd and Michael LaFargue, presidents of the Southeast Environmental Task Force and the West Chesterfield Community Association, respectively.
