Violence Prevention, Recidivism Reduction, and Restorative Justice Grant opportunities now available


The

Justice Advisory Council’s (JAC) Request for Proposals (RFP) has been issued for Violence Prevention, Recidivism Reduction, and Restorative Justice Grant opportunities. During this RFP cycle,  a total of $4,080,000 will be awarded for twenty (20) grant opportunities at three funding levels.

The grants included in this round of RFPs are:

• Eight (8) 24-Month Violence Prevention Demonstration Grants awarded in the amount of $300,000 each;

• Six (6) 24-Month Recidivism Reduction Demonstration Grants in the amount of $200,000 each; and

• Six (6) 24-Month Restorative Justice Demonstration Grants in the amount of $80,000 each.

All proposal submissions are due on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

The JAC will also host a Pre-Proposal Conference with Procurement on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. at 69 West Washington, 22nd Floor, Conference Rooms A-C, where potential applicants can ask questions and get more information regarding each funding opportunity. If you have any questions, please email  JAC.Info@cookcountil.gov.
