Save The Date! Please come out and join IDOT and the Village of University Park to celebrate on Friday, October 30th at 10:00 a.m. for the I-57/Stuenkel RD. and the University Parkway Reconstruction Project ribbon cutting and opening. This historic event takes place promptly at 10:00 a.m., just west of the University Parkway and Central Ave. intersection at I-57. As you know this has been many years in the making. We hope to see you there.

Driving instructions to the University Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The location is just west of the intersection of University Parkway/Stuenkel Rd.

Traveling from the Chicago Land Area on I-57, get off on Sauk Trail

1. Head east on Sauk Trail to Cicero Ave turn right and head south to Steger Road

2. At Steger Road turn left and head west to Central Ave and turn left (Do not go to University Parkway, it is closed to thru traffic as it is part of the road opening ceremony)

3. On Central Ave head south to University Parkway/ Stuenkel Road

4. At University Parkway/ Stuenkel Road you will be directed to the designated parking area
