SPC Extends Heavy Duty Fire Apparatus Contract

SSMMA

By Rita Kueny

The Suburban Purchasing Cooperative (SPC) Governing Board has voted to approve a month-to-month contract extension with Global Emergency Products of Aurora, IL for Pierce Manufacturing Arrow XT Heavy Duty Fire Apparatus when the original award expires on July 8, 2014. There are still unresolved issues in the negotiations between the SPC and Global Emergency Products that preclude awarding a one-year contract extension at this time. For questions or additional information, please contact staff or Rick Berndt, 815-653-4261 (office), 815-245-0431 (mobile) or rickberndt@comcast.net.

Please support the SPC and SSMMA when making purchases and note that every municipality and government agency in the State of Illinois is authorized to participate in SPC Programs. The SPC catalog can be viewed on our website http://ssmma.org/program-areas/suburban-purchasing-cooperative/. Feel free to contact me at (708) 206-1155 or rita.kueny@ssmma.org with any questions or comments you may have regarding existing SPC programs or additional programs you might like to see added.
