The Burbank-based Durbin’s Restaurant chain opened its eighth location last week in the former Pizza Stone restaurant in Manteno.

“It’s a nice fit for us,” said Durbin’s owner Tom McAuliffe, of Palos Hills.

The 6,000-square-foot location at 183 N. Main St. serves a typical Durbin’s menu including pizza, burgers, sandwiches, steak, pasta and seafood.

McAuliffe is proud of the chain’s pizza.
