Sauk Village is hoping to see its share of state funds increase after officials approved an agreement with Alfred G. Ronan Ltd., a lobbying firm the village hopes can increase the flow of cash from Springfield.
“That is someone who will be in Springfield constantly on behalf of the village of Sauk Village looking for money, grant money, looking for ways to fix our infrastructure, looking for ways to fix our roads and also economic development,” Village President David Hanks said.
