Following a surprise resignation, Glenwood officially has a new mayor.
The Village Board unanimously selected Ronald Gardiner as acting mayor Saturday following Tuesday’s resignation of Kerry Durkin.
Gardiner, 50, will serve the remainder of Durkin’s second term that runs through 2017.
