Richton Park launches Passport Mobile Pay at Metra station

Dec. 11, 2015 press release from Richton Park and Passport

The Village of Richton Park is launching Passport’s mobile pay solution at its Metra Station Lot location. Passport allows drivers to pay for parking from the convenience of their smartphone or tablet. With Passport, riders of the Metra will have the option of making credit card payments from their phone as opposed to using cash or credit card at the pay stations at all 610 Metra parking spaces. This launch partners the Village of Richton Park with Charlotte, NC-based Passport and Downers Grove, IL-based Total Parking Solutions.

“We’re very excited to be launching in Richton Park,” said Michael Rafferty, VP of Enterprise Implementations at Passport. “We look forward to making parking easier for Richton Park Metra riders with our user-friendly mobile pay solution.”

During the launch, parking validations will be provided to first time users of the app. Users can get started by downloading the free PassportParking app for iOS or Android devices. Users can also register online at ppprk.com. Read more here.
