Regional economic news is good despite state budget gridlock

Readers tired of negative stories about high taxes, the state budget impasse and other woes might be happy to hear some good news about the state of the region’s economy.

Economic development is booming in Will County, John Greuling, president and CEO of the Will County Center for Economic Development, told business leaders and regional officials Thursday at a banquet hall in Mokena.
