A safer way to cross busy LaGrange Road in Orland Park on foot or on bike will be opened Saturday.
Village officials will hold a dedication ceremony starting at 9 a.m. for a pedestrian bridge over LaGrange Road. Residents who want to walk or ride bikes over the 200-foot span that morning can gather at the bridge’s west entrance, near the 143rd Street Metra station.
