While redevelopment of the former Tinley Park Mental Health Center is a ways off from being realized, some residents and the village’s lead consultant on a proposed plan meant to steer the direction of that development are at odds over the best use of the 280-acre site.
The Village Board will, in the coming months, likely take a vote on a master plan for repurposing the property northwest of Harlem Avenue and 183rd Street.
