Oct. 4: Manufacturing Day at Prairie State College

Prairie State College (PSC) is hosting Manufacturing Day from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 4, in the Atrium on the college’s main campus, located at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights.

The morning opens with a job fair at 10 a.m., where PSC students and community members can meet with employers about job opportunities in the manufacturing fields. Attendees are encouraged to bring a current resume and dress in business attire. There are currently more than 1500 manufacturing jobs available in the Chicago Southland area.
