The Chicago Community Trust commemorates its 99th anniversary with On the Table, a large-scale, momentous event unlike any other in Trust history. It will bring together thousands of Chicagoland residents on one single day, May 12, 2014 at multiple locations, to share a meal and participate in civic-minded conversations about the future of our communities.

The Chicago Community Trust officially launched On the Table in mid-February. The goal is 10,000 individuals at 1,000 mealtime conversations hosted by Chicagoans like you. On the Table hosts and guests will discuss and define specific ways that we can all work together to build strong, safe, secure and economically viable communities. Click here for more information.

As the Trust approaches their second century of service, their mission remains the same: to strengthen and empower our community. Their responsibility is to forge a more inclusive public square, where each resident takes part in imagining and building a prosperous Chicago region. They look forward to hearing the ideas and bold solutions that come from our table.
