The first thing you notice when you step into Mary Dankowski’s office is that desk littered with papers, reports, file folders, three or four copies of the 500-plus pages of the latest annual budget of the Village of Park Forest, and even an oversized cup crammed with some 30 or so pencils, pens and one or two letter openers.
