The Employment and Training Administration, U.S. Department of Labor announced the availability of grant funds to support the American Apprenticeship Initiative. Prairie State College is in the initial stages of determining the direction of their proposal, and is hosting a presentation next Wednesday at their main campus on the apprenticeship system.
Additional details below: Please join them on Wednesday, January 21st from 9-10:30 a.m. to learn more about the National Apprenticeship System, and how it supports the American Apprenticeship Initiative. Gary Ellinger from the U.S. Department of Labor/Office of Apprenticeship will conduct a presentation on the Registered Apprenticeship System with the USDOL/OA. The presentation will take place at the Prairie State College Conference Center, room 1322, please enter at the Vollmer Road entrance for the Conference Center.
