The first of a series of public meetings aimed at helping create a master development plan for the former Tinley Park Mental Health Center property will be held Wednesday.

Residents will be able to give their input on what they would like to see developed on the site northwest of Harlem Avenue and 183rd Street. The two-hour session starts at 6:30 p.m. at Central Middle School, 18146 S. Oak Park Ave.

While the village doesn’t own the property, Tinley officials hope that having a development plan in place will give them greater control over what is ultimately built there…Please click here to read Mike Nolan’s story in the Tribune/Daily Southton.
