A small step for Homewood could end up being a giant leap for future generations of Southland residents.
It’s no secret that children who tinker often go on to become engineers, mathematicians and techies. Yet, for some reason, opportunities to play scientist seem few and far between in these parts.
Perhaps that’s why excitement is bubbling in Homewood these days.
A new science center, the first of its kind in the Southland, may soon be coming to the village.
