Gov. Rauner touts benefits of tourism at Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau annual luncheon

Noting that Illinois is in the doldrums as far as growth of manufacturing jobs, Gov. Bruce Rauner, speaking in Alsip on Wednesday, called the south and southwest suburbs the “best location in America” for new manufacturing or warehousing-distribution facilities.
