Funding opportunity for Chicago area alternative fuel stations


Drive Clean Station Accepting Funding Applications

Deadline for Applications: October 14, 2016 at 5:00 PM CDT

Drive Clean Chicago’s Drive Clean Station grant program is now reopen and accepting applications for DC Fast Charge and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Station projects. Click here for the Drive Clean Station Request for Applications.

Projects must take place within the Chicago 6-county area (Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, and Will Counties) in Illinois. The stations must be easily accessible to safely and conveniently accommodate all CNG vehicle types or offer CHAdeMO and/or SAE Combined Charging Standard (CCS) protocol for DC Fast Charging.

Applications must be received no later than Friday, October 14, 2016 at 5 PM CDT via email to Carl Lisek (station@drivecleanchicago.com) and Samantha Bingham (samantha.bingham@cityofchicago.org).
