The Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation supports Illinois communities in upgrading to more efficient indoor, outdoor, and street lighting. Competitive grants cover up to 40% of the total project cost with the following funding caps: $160,000 for municipal governments, park districts, and public libraries; $120,000 for schools; and $25,000 for street lighting. Awards can be combined with other incentive reimbursements received from the Illinois DCEO or Metropolitan Mayors Caucus Public Sector Energy Efficiency Program.

Deadline: Applications are due in two cycles, the first being March 13, 2015 and the second being September 11, 2015. Please click here for more information.
