Fall quarterly forum: “CSEDC is making a difference”


The Chicago Southland Economic Development Corporation’s fall quarterly forum was held Oct. 30, 2015 at Chicago Gaelic Park and hosted by Oak Forest.

Community Development Director Adam Dotson presented information about economic development and residential opportunities in Oak Forest and a CSEDC panel provided updates on economic development projects including the SouthWorks MakerLab Network, a Super Walmart in Richton Park, industrial development, green infrastructure, the 1,000 Jobs Campaign, and transit oriented development and housing. Panelists included Don Brozak of the South Metropolitan Higher Education Consortium and SouthWorks, Richton Park Community Development Director Regan Stockstell, CSEDC Executive Director Reggie Greenwood, OAI, Inc. Business Account Executive Pamela Williams, Blue Island Deputy Director of Community Development Jason Berry, and SSMMA Deputy Executive Director of Housing and Community Development Lakeshia Wright.
