The Will County Board last week signed off on the creation of two new enterprise zones in eastern Will to help spur economic development and provide job opportunities in the area.
Enterprise zones are areas designated by governmental bodies that provide incentives — such as fee waivers and tax abatements — to motivate businesses to move there.
