Enterprise Zones

SSMMA hosted meetings for the Calumet Region and Cal Sag Enterprise Zones on Aug. 9 to discuss updates on county incentives, Opportunity Zones, trade show activity, marketing plans/materials, and site promotion companies. In addition, updates were provided on the progress of new projects, including: Chipotle and Super 8 in South Holland; Aldi, GC America and the Electrical Apprenticeship Training School in Alsip; Knotty Luxe Restaurant in Markham; and Rodzilla Properties in Midlothian. The next meetings for the Calumet Region and the Cal Sag Enterprise Zones are scheduled for 9 and 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 11 at SSMMA’s offices.
