Job Title: Public Works Director Department: Public Works Employment Status: Full Time Exempt/Non Exempt Status: Exempt Salary Range: $95,000 – 105,500
Scope of Work This is advanced administrative and managerial work which includes the responsibility to plan, organize, staff, direct and control the operations of the Public Works Department in the maintenance of the Village’s streets, parks, commuter parking facilities, storm sewers, the water and sanitary sewer distribution systems and the municipal buildings and grounds.
Supervision Received Reports to the Village Manager
Requirements of Work Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Public Administration or a related field.
Experience: 7 -10 years of experience required within a municipal Public Works or equivalent combination of training and experience. Engineering degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years in a management or supervisory position
