As a community of 23,300 residents, Dolton is seeking a visionary leader for the Police Chief position. The Dolton Police Department provides the full range of police services and takes pride in its commitment to serve residents, the business community and visitors. The Dolton Police Department has a current staff of 40 full-time sworn officers and 7 civilian personnel to serve the village. The Police Department also participates in many cooperative public safety programs and mutual aid agreements to maximize efficiency and reduce costs in providing public safety to our citizens. The work is performed under the direction of the Village Administrator.
