Crete Mayor Mike Einhorn is asking local Illinois and Indiana officials to support his request for a $180,000 grant to study development of a local roadway linking Monee and Crown Point, Ind.
Einhorn envisions building a seven-mile link between Crete-Monee Road’s current east end and the current west end of Indiana Route 231.
