CSX intermodal yard

By Reggie Greenwood

We are pleased to show the latest information about the CSX announcement of their new intermodal site in Crete.  See presentation from Feb. 22 forum discussion, hosted by U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly, “How Tomorrow Moves, Crete Logistics Center.” With the expansion of the CSX railroad and the decision by the State to release a RFI for the South Suburban Airport (SSA), the unique logistics assets of the Chicago Southland just dramatically expanded.  CSEDC is working with CSX and the SSA to help these new projects, combined with existing CN and UP intermodal yards, provide our companies access by rail to the west and east coasts and by air to the world.
