On on the evening of March 10, 2015, after visiting the south suburbs of Cook County, the U.S. Delegation for Chinese Logistics Industries met downtown for a reception with President Preckwinkle, at a gathering sponsored by the South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association. The event was structured to focus on learning about the Chicago area, especially the latest logistics development, the current and future E-commerce trends, and the various technologies incorporated by the shipment carriers…Please click here to read Barbara M. During their visit to metropolitan Chicago, the delegation also made stops in Homewood at Balagio’s Restaurante for a CSEDC development opportunities presentation (a video is here and photos are here), the South Suburban Airport, CenterPoint and a warehouse (presentation is here) and other intermodal sites in Harvey and Sauk Village.
