Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle introduced an ordinance aimed at generating economic development at the Cook County Board of Commissioners meeting Wednesday.
The Cook County Bureau of Economic Development and South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association hope to designate four locations in Cook County as Illinois Enterprise Zones. One of those locations, which is being called the Calumet Enterprise Zone, will be located in Calumet City, Lansing, Riverdale, South Holland, Thornton and portions of unincorporated Cook County…Please click here to read David P.
