From the Cook County Bureau of Economic Development (please share with your staff and residents):
The Cook County Bureau of Economic Development (BED) is partnering with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) to develop a dual-track comprehensive plan, Planning for Progress, that will guide funding requests, investments, and partnerships for Cook County over the next five years around community development, affordable housing, and economic development.
Please share your thoughts and priorities on what Planning for Progress should focus on when strategically planning for the future of Cook County by taking an on-line survey, which will be available until January 31, 2014. Visit www.planningforprogress.metroquest.com.
Your input is crucial in making sure this strategic planning process addresses the issues that are most important to you and your community. Learn more about Planning for Progress at www.cmap.illinois.gov/lta/cook-county. Information about upcoming public meetings to be held throughout Cook County in January and February will be available on the project web page in coming weeks.
