Cook County approves road projects for upcoming years

Cook County officials said work will proceed in 2015 on a pair of projects meant to repair or build business-oriented roads in suburban Harvey and Lynwood.

The County Board on Wednesday approved resuming the extension east of Joe Orr Road in Lynwood toward the Illinois/Indiana border.
