Richard J. Matuga died Jan. 13 after suffering a stroke at his home Jan. 4. He was 74.
Matuga was the village attorney in Burnham for 43 years.
A statement from the village read, in part:
“Matuga was dedicated to the village of Burnham and always had the best interest of the village and the residents in mind. His commitment to the village enhanced the quality of life for the community and he was instrumental in protecting the village. He created numerous ordinances, assisted the village officials, the police and fire commission and was always there to assist the department heads in legal matters,” said Village President Robert Polk….Please click here to read David P.
