The Village of Matteson is seeking an experienced law enforcement professional with an ability to provide a contemporary approach to policing to serve as the community’s next Chief of Police. The Village desires an individual who is open-minded, strategic and an innovative thinker with a track record of implementing modern policing strategies. The ideal candidate will be able to lead the members of the Police Department with a reputation for being open-minded, respectful of different viewpoints, and the ability to foster a strong rapport and trust within the Police Department and between the Department and the community. In addition to expertise in all facets of law enforcement, the Chief of Police must demonstrate a background of professionalism and integrity, striving for the highest ideals of public service and personal conduct with strong intergovernmental relations skills. - RFQ - Environmental Remediation Contract Services
SSMMA is seeking environmental remediation contractors to conduct remediation services in support of our brownfields remediation program, which is funded by the Cook County Department of Environment and Sustainability via the American Rescue Plan Act. SSMMA, leveraging existing relationships with south suburban communities, will conduct various clean up activities of brownfields in support of development growth in the south suburbs. Respondents may respond to one or all of the following: Soil and Groundwater Remediation Services Soil Vapor Mitigation Services Building Demolition and Abatement Services Cook County, utilizing American Rescue Plan Act funding, has scaled up their brownfield assessment and remediation programs and have identified brownfield sites within south suburban SSMMA municipalities needing clean up. In support of these activities, Cook County has executed a Subrecipient Agreement dated March 12, 2024 with SSMMA to conduct remediation in accordance with approved plans to be provided Cook County. SSMMA has retained IngenAE, LLC (IngenAE), through a public bid process, to operate as its environmental consultant (EC) to conduct typical environmental consulting services in support of remedial action implementation. If your firm is qualified and experienced in conducting the described environmental remediation services, SSMMA would appreciate receiving your SOQ.
