The Village of Dolton seeks a health inspector

The Village of Dolton is seeking a Health Inspector. The primary responsibility of this position is the inspection of all public places where food is stored and prepared. The position is part-time and reports to the Village Administrator and serves as an advisor to the Mayor and Village Board on matters of public health. Additional duties include: Working with other Village departments and outside agencies to coordinate public health activities. Resolving problems and being able to work with the public to handle public health issues in a timely fashion. Knowledge of federal, state regulations and village policies regarding public health practices. Inspecting any local swimming pools as required by law.
