Ford Announces 2014 Fusion Factory Cut Off Date
The Suburban Purchasing Cooperative (SPC) has been advised by Ford Motor Company that the factory order cutoff date for the 2014 Ford Fusion S, SE and SE Hybrid Series vehicle is March 28. SPC Extends Thermoplastic Lane Marking Contract We are optimistic that eventually spring will arrive, so the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative Governing Board (SPC) has approved the second of three (3) possible one-year contract extensions on the SPC Lane Marking Contract to Superior Road Striping of Melrose Park. The contract will run from April 12, 2014 through April 11, 2015, and includes a 5% price increase in material costs passed on by the manufacturer. With the acceptance of this contract extension, Superior Road Striping agrees to all terms and conditions as set forth in the specifications contained within the request for proposals to which they responded. This award is not in conjunction with the Illinois Department of Transportation, so participating communities will not be utilizing Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) funds. However, Superior Road Striping must comply with all IDOT rules and regulations, as well as prevailing wage and certified payroll. SPC Extends 2014 Ford Focus S Contract The Suburban Purchasing Cooperative (SPC) Governing Board has approved the second of three (3) possible one-year contract extensions for the 2014 Ford Focus S Contract to Currie Motors of Frankfort through January 20, 2015. Ford Motor Company has agreed to hold the SPC contract price of the standard vehicle at $12,445.00, so there is no price increase at this time.
